Premium Pultruded FRP Solid Rod for Structural & Industrial Applications

Our pultruded FRP solid rod is manufactured through a continuous pultrusion process where high-strength E-glass fiber rovings are saturated with thermosetting resin and pulled through a precision-heated steel die. The result is a dense, void-free solid cylindrical profile with unidirectional fiber orientation that delivers exceptional tensile strength and stiffness along its length.

Available in diameters from 3 mm to 50 mm, our FRP solid rods provide a lightweight, corrosion-proof alternative to steel rebar, threaded rods, and metal dowels. With a density just one-fifth that of steel and tensile strengths reaching 700 MPa, FRP solid rod offers an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio ideal for applications where weight reduction and corrosion resistance are critical.

FRP solid rod is inherently electrically non-conductive and thermally insulating, making it the preferred choice for electrical insulation components, antenna masts, and thermal barrier connections. It can be easily cut, drilled, and machined using standard carbide tooling, and is available in multiple resin systems including polyester, vinyl ester, and epoxy for tailored chemical and thermal performance.

Unidirectional fiber orientation delivers tensile strength up to 700 MPa — comparable to high-strength steel at only 20-25% of the weight. Ideal for tension members, tie rods, and reinforcement applications.

Electrical Insulation

Naturally non-conductive with dielectric strength of 3–10 kV/mm. Perfect for electrical insulator components, antenna guy wires, live-line tools, and substation hardware where conductivity cannot be tolerated.

Corrosion-Proof Construction

Will not rust, corrode, or deteriorate in harsh environments including chemical plants, marine installations, wastewater facilities, and concrete embedment where steel reinforcement would fail.

Easy Machinability

Can be cut, drilled, threaded, and machined using standard carbide-tipped tools. Fabrication is straightforward with no special equipment required, enabling quick on-site modification and installation.

Thermal & Dimensional Stability

Low coefficient of thermal expansion (8–12 × 10⁻⁶/°C) and excellent dimensional stability across a wide temperature range. Maintains shape and performance from -40°C to 80°C (polyester) or higher with vinyl ester/epoxy.
